Guy Howell Roberson

June 4, 1943 - February 2, 2010

Mr. Guy Howell Roberson age 66, of Dallas Georgia passed away Tuesday February 2, 2010 at Tranquility Hospice.

Mr. Roberson was born on June 4, 1943 in Atlanta Ga, the son of the late Guy C. Roberson and Vera Turner Roberson. He attended Hiram High School until he enlisted in the Air Force at the age of 17. He served his country with pride and received an honorable discharge. Mr. Roberson worked as a welder. Some of his favorite pastimes included operating his Ham Radio and Computer Programming. He enjoyed the discoveries he made as the family historian. He is also well remembered for his God given talent for playing the piano.

Mr. Guy Roberson is survived by his son Barron E. Wright, his granddaughter Ella Anne Roberson Wright, both of Buchanan, Ga; and his sister Gail Roberson of Conyers, Ga.

Funeral services for Mr. Roberson will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 2 PM with the Reverends Joe Maxwell and Lamar Rackley officiating. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart. Pallbearers include Andy Freeze, Brian Freeze, William Houston, Junior Graham, Gene Shaffer and Don McKenney. Interment will follow at Paulding Memory Gardens.

Visitation for Mr. Roberson will be held on Wednesday February 3, 2010 from 6 PM - 9 PM and Thursday February 4, 2010 from 9 AM - until the service begins at 2 PM.
