Biography

Mrs. Vera Wiest, age 91 of Kennesaw, Georgia and formerly of Baltimore, Maryland passed away on February 25, 2010 at her residence. She was born on August 29, 1918 the daughter of the late John Henry LeRoy Trautfelter and Eleanor Germeroth. Mrs. Wiest was married to the late William Read Wiest, II who passed away on May 14, 1970. She was a devoted homemaker and was of the Presbyterian Faith. She was a member of her high school sorority Zeta Tau Kappa.

Mrs. Wiest is survived by 2 daughters, Ms. Nan Armiger of Kennesaw, Ga.; Ms. Dee Wiest of Dallas, Ga.; sister, Mrs. Evelyn Melba Regan of Williamsburg, Maryland; brother, Mr. Charles Russell Trautfelter of Baltimore, Maryland; 2 grandchildren, Andrew Read Armiger of Huntersville, North Carolina; Rebecca Ann Armiger of Bethesda, Maryland; great grandchildren, Ayla Nicole Armiger, Mia Read Armiger both of Huntersville, North Carolina.

Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Vera Marie Wiest will be held on Monday March 1, 2010 with interment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Sykesville, Maryland.
