Biography
Mrs. Clarice Austin Lee age 93 of the Nebo community of Paulding, passed away on June 24, 2010 at Wellstar Paulding Nursing Unit. She was born on July 16, 1916 in Dallas, Georgia the daughter of the late Tyre Hart and Mary Boggs. She was preceded in death by her husband of many years Oliver C. “Pickle” Austin, Jr. Mrs. Clarice Austin Lee loved to travel and spend time with her family.
Mrs. Clarice Austin Lee is survived by 2 daughters and son in law, Malinda & Charles Bice of Villa Rica, Ga., Maxine Harris of Villa Rica, Ga.; 2 sons and daughter in law, Max & Fay Austin of Douglasville, Ga., Ronnie & Fyllis Austin of Atlanta, Ga.; 18 grandchildren , 17 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members & friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of many years Oliver C. “Pickle” Austin, Jr., husband of many years Ray Lee; 2 daughters, Polly Ann Cohran, Mary Ella Freeman, and an infant daughter.
Funeral services for Mrs. Clarice Austin Lee will be held on Saturday June 26, 2010 at 2 PM in the chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Reverend George Barnett officiating. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart. Pall Bearers will include Perry Harris, Larry Leggett, Roger Leggett, Rex Bice, Roger Baty, and Andy Fielder. Interment will follow at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6pm until 9pm on Friday June 25, 2010 and on Saturday June 26, 2010 from 9 am until the service begins at 2pm.
