Letha Christine Walters, affectionately known as “Chrissy” to her family and friends, age 22, of Dallas, Ga., passed away on Sunday, November 15th in Tifton, Ga. Chrissy was born on October 12, 1998 in Carrollton, Ga., to Mr. James Leonard “Len” Walters and Mrs. Judy Roxanne Franklin Walters. Chrissy attended and graduated from Paulding County High School, where she was a varsity cheerleader and a member of the Varsity soccer team. She loved being a Paulding County Patriot. After graduation she began her college education in Tifton, Ga., where she was attending Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College also known as ABAC and on track to receive her teaching degree in AG education. She was very involved in her Sigma Alpha Sorority and will be truly missed by her sisters. Chrissy was very gifted academically and in sports. She never met a stranger, and both loved and lived life to the fullest. Chrissy was a bright and talented young lady, who loved and was loved by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed by all who cherish her memory. Survivors include; parents, Mr. & Mrs. James Leonard “Len” (Roxanne Franklin) Walters, brother, Leonard Clayton “Clay” Walters, grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Hugh (Annette) Walters and Mr. & Mrs. Larry (Judy) Franklin; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive. Funeral services for Chrissy will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 3:00 PM at the West Ridge Church with Rev. Billy Wood officiating. Interment will follow in the Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery in Dallas, Ga. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 19, 2020 from 12:00 PM until the service hour at 3:00 PM at West Ridge Church. All Visitation will be held at West Ridge Church. Current social distancing guidelines will apply. Masks are recommended, but not required. If you are unable to attend the services, there will be a live stream of the service on the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/jeffeberhartfuneralhome. Flowers will be greatly accepted and appreciated and there will be a memory table set up at the Church where memories and/or notes to Chrissy’s family can be written or placed. Any donations made will be used to help offset expenses for the funeral.
