Mr. Richard Lee Brown

January 16, 1969 - February 2, 2015

Mr. Richard Lee Brown, age 46, passed away at his residence on Monday, February 2, 2015. Richard was born in Tucker, GA on January 14, 1969 to loving parents, Mr. Dennis Mozelle Brown and the late Mrs. Donna Ann Harrison Brown. Richard was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church in Epworth, GA. In his spare time, he enjoyed music, playing guitar, drums and keyboards and riding his motorcycle. Richard is preceded in death by his mother and grandmother, Grace Ann Waits. Richard is survived by his wife of four years, Mrs. Carolyn Annette Brown of Dallas, GA, one son and daughter in-law, Jason and Morgan McTaggart, one daughter Janet McTaggart both of Dallas, GA, one grandson, Oaklee Harris McTaggart, one brother, David Brown of Blue Ridge, GA, one uncle, Mike Waits of Epworth, GA, one brother in-law, Ricky L. Osborne of Dallas, GA, one sister in-law, Patricia and Bill Anderton of Powder Springs, GA. Several nephews, other family members and friends also survive. Funeral services for Richard Lee Brown will be held at 2 PM on Friday, February 6, 2015 in the chapel at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Hicks officiating. Pall bearers will be Thomas Craton, Keith Acree, Lee Mauldin, Shane Dunn, Brian C. Vaughn and Cory Brown. Interment will follow at Bascomb Carmel Cemetery in Woodstock, GA. The family will receive friends from 3-9 PM on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 and Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 9 am – 9 pm at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home.
